WHAT TO DO ========== 1. Dump and convert your BIOS Download Dumpbios and the 3Dfx BIOS editor. Run Dumpbios, and convert the dumped file with the BIOS editor. It's a good idea to BACKUP the converted file! NOTE: Because of the larger BIOS size, The V3 3000-AGP and V3 3500 BIOS Dumps can't be used with the BIOS editor. You can Make a RECOVERY DISK with a BIOS from the site, Or you can send SIRIS a copy of your dumped BIOS with a request for a converted copy! 2. Make a RECOVERY DISK Download the recovery disk program, Follow the instructions in it's README using your converted file. 3. Do the FLASH Download the flash program and the appropriate BIOS. Put these in a folder on your c: drive along with a copy of your original BIOS (The same ROM you made the recovery disk with! (ORIGBIOS.ROM))! Read the flash program readme for further instructions. Remember to rename and backup the SAVE.ROM created during the flash! FLASHING FAILURE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS =================================== If an error occurs while flashing the BIOS **DO NOT REBOOT** If the FLASH program created a SAVE.ROM file RENAME it to ORIGSAVE.ROM Immediately reflash with either the ORIGBIOS.ROM or the ORIGSAVE.ROM If the card still refuses to take a flash, POWER DOWN and REBOOT with the RECOVERY DISK! LAST RESORT, If the RECOVERY DISK didn't work you can install another video card into the system and connect your monitor to it. This will allow you to flash and reflash the Voodoo until you get it to take!
